From Newport take the M4 West towards Bridgend. Leave the motorway at exit 37, signposted Porthcawl. Keep in the left hand lane & turn left signposted Porthcawl 3miles.

Follow the road, into Porthcawl & out the other side , following the brown signs for Rest Bay Car Park. (Fee £2.80)

From Pontypool, make your way to Caerphilly. Then follow signs for The A470, go down Natgarw Hill & at the bottom turn left onto the A470 towards the M4 motorway,

At the second exit turn off the A470 & Keep in the right hand lane for M4(West) Bridgend & Port Talbot.

Leave the motorway at exit 37, signposted Porthcawl. Keep in the left hand lane & turn left signposted Porthcawl 3miles.

Follow the road, into Porthcawl & out the other side , following the brown signs for Rest Bay Car Park. (Fee £2.80)
